Creativity :-)

It definitely took a lot of creative thinking to come up with such a design :-)
Spotted in a Hyderabad 'inn'. Hats off to the designer.

Early morning - Boston

Clicked this at 5'ish in the morning with the N-70 in Boston. The photo is not that clear. The white speck in the center is the moon.

And yes; I have begun liking the Nokia N-70 camera a lot!!

Rainbow at work!

Work - an uninteresting place for many; and interesting for only a few. I managed to capture a rainbow on a hot and humid July afternoon between rain and sunshine. The dome on the left is a portion of a huge space-ship shaped building in my office.

A little bit of India in your life...

The teeming city of Hyderabad. White Ambassador cars - the luxury car of yesteryears; the beautifully decorated yellow autorickshaws - the taxi of the common man; and the two wheelers. Street hawkers making good money on the road. Lots of people, lots of traffic and tremendous activity in the shops! Chaotic; yet organized. Thats India for you!

This was taken from the top of the Charminar. You can see a bit of the famous Mecca Masjid on the right; and a portion of a hospital on the left.

Zoom ahead!

Clicked again with the N-70 camera. I clipped the image horizontally to remove the vehicle dashboard. This has given the picture slightly different dimensions than the convention, but nonetheless; I thought this was worth a post here :)

Borders again done through gimp. If you know of a better tool for custom borders do drop me a note!

Charminar!

I clicked this wonderful monument with my Nokia N-70 camera!
The borders have been done in gimp; a powerful application that came with Ubuntu.
More information about the great monument can be found here!

P.S: More of Charminar to follow in the coming posts!!
